PRODUCTION OPERATOR: Under the direction of the Production supervisor, Production Operators are responsible for putting together all mechanical components and parts to assemble water meters. Verify correct materials according to traveler. Assemble first piece and obtain approval from area supervisor. Assemble product according to process sheet. Program product. Other tasks or duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Able to use hand tools and power tools. Manual dexterity and good motor skills Strong hand-eye coordination Attention to details. Organized Self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive, eager to learn. Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to safely maneuver up to 70 lbs. Steel-toed safety shoes and safety glasses are required. Able to work overtime daily and on weekends when required.
