Join us to bring the gift of health to life.--The Materials Planner keeps the production running smoothly by managing the flow of materials. The responsibilities include managing the right level of inventory and timely deliveries of materials that meet quality standard. The Materials Planner reports to the Manager, Scheduling and Materials.----Key Responsibilities--Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:--Determine type and quantity of materials required by analyzing production schedules and demand, place POs with suppliers.--Perform systematic assessment and have an understanding of MRP, the interdependencies of the data that contributes to the successful and effective running of the MRP process.--Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stock outs or excessive inventory, expedite materials that may delay schedules to minimize disruptions.--Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure material requirements are met, communicate any changes to affected team members.------Ideal Candidate Profile--The ideal candidate has experience in materials planning or inventory planning and has a comprehensive understanding of production planning, an individual who is analytical and has excellent communication skills. You will be successful if you demonstrate ownership and collaborate well with internal team members and suppliers.----Critical Success Factors--You ll be most successful in this role if you are:----A problem solver, who identifies issues as they arise and drives solutions.--Actively involved in improving processes and results.--Working well structured, organized and detail oriented.--Data-driven, like to run analysis and use data to drive efficiencies.----Capabilities & Skills Required--In order to take on these challenges, you ll need to have:--A four-year college or university degree or its equivalent.Competency in using Microsoft Office 365, advanced knowledge in Excel.--Experience with ERP Systems,-- Kinaxis Rapid Response is a plus.--Strong analytical skills.--Willingness to learn and find opportunities to collaborate and improve processes.--Excellent communication skills written and verbal.--OUR OFFERHere, career paths aren't predefined, and bureaucratic limitations don't exist -- you have the opportunity to grow, learn from industry pioneers, and develop the way you want to.
