Adopt Tut-Tut a Turtle - Other / Mixed reptile, amphibian

Location:
Washington, DC
Description:

Tut-Tut is a gorgeous, 10-year-old female red-eared slider. She's a good-sized turtle and would LOVE a larger pond to move around and get some nice exercise. She was found abandoned in a filthy tank. Her shell was not in the best shape but with proper care going forward, her shell will get better. Since she arrived here, she has been enjoying time swimming around in the turtle pond. She is quite active and needs lots of space. Turtles like to eat crickets and mealworms with leafy greens and other veggies. They really enjoy and need a variety of foods! Red sliders can live up to 40 years, so they need proper care to thrive. These neat pets do have unique housing, dietary and set-up needs so be sure to ask our adoptions counselors how to get ready to bring home Tut-Tut.
